Just as every person is an individual, so are their capacities and needs. Every individual responds to specific exercises per their needs and requirements related to their work or recreation.
It is important that the therapist review the client’s needs and design exercises and exercise protocols that will assist their function. This will enable better quality rehabilitation and necessary assistance with recovery for client’s condition.

Advising client’s the appropriate amount of exercise to do is important as this allows rehabilitiation to occur and prevents the adverse effects of over-training and subsequent injury from doing too much exercise or undertraining that leads to poor rehabilitation and longer duration of treatments.
