COLD LASER THERAPY

Cold lasers are called such not because they are cold but because they do not burn through soft-tissue. This treatment is not invasive and may be used as an alternate to acupuncture treatment.

The cold laser emits light from LED electrodes and produces a therapeutic effect at the site of where the device is applied. The light energy produces improvement of blood circulation and this in turn will help to reduce inflammation over and then help with tissue healing. The treatment allows for good outcomes. Other benefits are that it is easy to apply, is non-toxic and non-invasive and does not produce a side effect of pain.

  • Arthritic joints
  • carpal tunnel problems
  • ligament sprains
  • acute and chronic pain
  • soft tissue injuries
  • conditions as bursitis
  • fibromyalgia
  • tendinopathies like tennis or golfer’s elbow
  • muscle strain

How is treatment administered?

  • Clients and Therapist both wear clean safety glasses which are re-cleaned after every client use. This is to protect accidental exposure to the eyes.
  • Treatment is administered using specific probe over the painful area and giving the light radiation over the area. Various bouts of the light radiation are given over the painful area.
